Fast response on a Sunday when the temp was 10 degrees. We actually caused a fuse to blow replacing humidifier on furnace. They figured it out quick and even helped us with the humidifier. Great job and experience with Andrew.

Very nice man and he fixed my problem. I need to buy a new starter assembly if he can find one so I can avoid future problems.

I was very pleased to have met Andrew H. from Hometown Heroes. His professional integrity was impeccable and immediate received when he came to answer my urgent call. Had a motor replaced on heating unit. On time, great communication, answered every question I had, and showed me the broken part he replaced. He was done in just under an hour even though he had very little space to work with under the house. Definitely will be keeping the number handy for any future issues or just maintenance. Highly suggest you do the same if you're in the area.

They have been very good for cleaning and maintenance on my air conditioner and furnace. The technicians are thoughtful and thorough when checking things to make sure everything is running smoothly. Also they give suggestions but are not pushy about items that are optional.

Steve has helped us with a few plumbing projects around the house. I appreciate the fact that Steve is able to quickly diagnose any problems and does not try to sell us something we don’t need. Steve has been a great resource to my wife and I as we navigate through the “charms” of owning an older home.

The Boss himself came out in his All-Wheel 4X4... to get my Heater working again in less than 10 minutes! Because he was looking out for his Technicians in bad weather..didn't want them to get stucked on the ice and the snow. We've just had a Historic Snow Fall and a Winter Blizzard pass thru Kansas City area! Hometown Heroes Heating and Cooling are the Best in the Chief's Kingdom! HTH did my HVAC / water heater combo I think like 6 months ago? Great service then -- but i had a backed up (i don't even know what you call it) pipe to the HVAC? I called them to ask if they support it - sure enough, they have educated and ready to help staff on hand. They were out here in less than 8 hours and solved the problem. Always friendly, always on time. I can't help but go to them when I have anything related to HVAC/water heater!!!!

When I say I was beyond impressed I mean it. Story time, we have lived in our house 6 years and in this time have used 4 different plumbers. The reason it was never the same one again is because one walked around my house and into my basement without knocking and smelled like alcohol, the second told us we needed a new water heater, when I told him “it’s less than 5 years old, and we don’t” then he said “well you need a new top tank then”. I said “no just replace the part” which he said “we can’t, because we can’t warranty it.” I said “that’s ok, I will sign something to void warranty”. Then he said “ok, actually it’s fine, I think we can get you a warranty”. It only needed a new nipple. The last plumber I called because of a clog in the sink. He didn’t even look for a clog just said immediately “looks like you need a new garbage disposal” and I said “can you please just check for a clog because the disposal is less than 5 years old.” It was just the ptrap that was clogged. Hometown hero’s we called today (New Years Eve) because of a clog. They showed up early and were very communicative, kind and respectful. They did a thorough investigation of basement and upstairs sink and then said yup just looks like a clog. Clearly communicated upfront the total cost for everything. Got the go ahead and cleared it out. I decided to test them a step further to see their level of honesty and I said how is my garbage disposal looking?? Is it getting old, or needing replacement anytime soon? He inspected it and said “nope it looks good!” To say I was jaw dropped is putting it lightly. I’m beyond impressed. Because of these two young men we will use hometown hero’s forever the Dopson brothers are good men. We will also definitely be recommending them to anyone looking for a good quality and honest plumber which is beyond hard to come by. Thank you for your honesty and trustworthiness.

The technician was professional, thorough, and explained everything clearly. They caught potential issues before they became problems and had everything tuned up perfectly for winter.

Amazing company!!!!! We woke up to our smoke detectors going off at 4:00am today due to our water heater issue. I called Hometown Heroes for emergency service. The techs and manager came out, replaced out water heater first thing in the morning and got us taken care of with. New system and installation at a very affordable price. My husband and I are soooo grateful for these fellas! Excellent people and professional service! Trust them!! We will be return customers.

My wife was fearful the gas she was smelling was from the water heater, while the attic fan was turned on. We were in the basement, in front of the water heater. You're going to smell gas because of my attic fan... She worried for nothing.
